CREATE ITEMS

Items are created in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and then transmitted to ICGManager, you must never create items directly in ICGManager.

Update item card fields necessary for ICG Connector

  1. Description for the item to be sent to ICGManager
  2. Base Unit of Measure will be the default unit of measure for sale transaction received from ICGManager
    • In case of items sold by format (i.e. restaurants), just create the formats in ICGManager and the corresponding format unit of measure will be created in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central automatically when a sale transaction is received
  3. Sent to ICG indicates that the item has been sent to ICG at least once
    • When an item is sent to ICGManager the indicator can never be changed to false
  4. Sell by weight when the item must prompt for the weight in the POS
  5. ICG main item classification fields that will be transmited to ICGManager
    1. Department
    2. Section
    3. Family
    4. Subfamily
  1. ICG secondary item classification
    1. Brand
    2. Line
    3. Season
  1. ICG No. is the internal Primary Key to identify the item in both systems
